What is Trinity?
Trinity represents a collection of either 3 people or 3 things. In the case of our Trinity Family, I bring together three parts of ourselves.
Mind, Body and Spirit.
The Symbolism behind our Logo.
The Triquetra in the very centre symbolises Trinity in many shapes and forms. There is no beginning and no end. If you follow the lines around they never end, it is an ongoing shape. It can be shown alone or it can be shown with a circle, as it is in our logo.
The Triquetra means something different to everyone and it can mean different things to people at different times in their lives. For this family the main meaning is about balancing out the different parts of ourselves. It is beautifully designed to be balanced, even and look like a whole. If one line had a different curve on it, the whole design wouldn’t be balanced. It’s the same within our own lives. If we think about the elements that make us up, as a whole, are they balanced? The answer is probably not.
If we take the time to learn how to balance ourselves and understand when we become unbalanced, we could change the overall design of our life.
If you had the tools you needed to balance back out when you recognised the unbalanced parts of you start to take over, just IMAGINE how much difference that would make for you?
The circle represents protection, infinite, eternity along with equality and divine femininity. A circle is drawn around or through the Triquetra to signify spiritual unity. This is a protection circle; something that cannot be broken. In our logo here, there is a second circle for extra protection.
The other elements that you will notice are the crescent moons on either side of the Triquetra and protection circle. If you look at just the outline shapes here, you will notice that it is a trio of 3 moons, a full moon in the centre and a crescent moon on either side.
All Celtic moon symbols like these are associated with 4 things:
1. Femininity
2. Women
3. Growth
4. Creativity
The word “crescent” comes from the Latin term ceres meaning to “bring forth, create” and crescere, the Latin term for “grow, thrive”.
Waning Crescent (Crescent moon on the right) symbolises the expulsion of negative energy in your life, getting rid of things you know you don’t need, or those things/people/habits, etc. which are harming you.
Waxing Crescent (crescent moon on the left) symbolises growth and creativity.
All triple moons symbolise the Maiden, Mother, and Crone.
• Waxing Crescent Moon = Maiden
• Full Moon = Mother
• Waning Crescent Moon = Crone
These stages of a woman’s life can come in so many different forms besides age. It’s
about growth and what cycle that you are in during each aspect of your life.
Now for the best bit about this Triple Moon design that we have, the outline of its meaning is a “Triple Goddess Moon”.
I think that we are all goddesses in our own form and here to do certain things in this lifetime to touch other people’s lives with our power.
If you look at the symbol from left to right for the meanings with The Triple Goddess Moon:
• Rhythm of time – Waxing Crescent Moon
• Cycle of life – Full Moon
• Renewal – Waning Crescent Moon
In this design, the full moon represents the never-ending design and it holds onto each opposing aspect, the crescents. This tells us that everything is connected and never ends.
Nothing is coincidence.
Do you want to live the rest of your life in this lifetime being unbalanced or do you want to bring all the elements together from your everyday life and your actual life purpose and live as one?
This means getting your Mind, Body and Spirit combined together into a balanced Trinity.
